Our Work / Structural Steel
Structural steel for Calgary’s commercial skyline.
Shopping centres, multi-storey office buildings, warehouses, plants, and CRU's - fabricated and erected from our own advanced facility, shop drawing through final connection.
Overview
Structural steel, built to hold up.
TSE Steel Ltd. fabricates and erects structural steel for commercial buildings including shopping centres, multi-storey office buildings, warehouses, plants, and CRU's - the same category of work TSE has taken on since 1968.
Every project starts in-house: our detailing team prepares shop drawings using AutoCAD and Advance Steel 3D modelling software, engineering structural steel connections utilising IDEA StatiCa, integrated with STRUMIS software for material management before a single piece is fabricated at our Calgary facility.
All fabrication and erection is in accordance with the CISC Code of Standard Practice. TSE Steel Ltd. is Canadian Welding Bureau certified, with all welding conforming to CSA Standards W47.1 and W59, under a quality control program certified to ISO 9001:2015.

Capabilities
The crane and yard capacity behind every erection.
Structural steel moves through four dedicated shop areas at our Calgary facility, each built around real overhead crane capacity - plus a 42,000 sq ft yard crane runway for staging and load-out.
